In September of 2005, Section III held its first online
discussion group. Our discussant was Muriel Dimen, Ph.D., the recipient of
Section III’s 2004 award of recognition for writing and service in the area
of Women, Gender and Psychoanalysis. Her book Sexuality Intimacy Power
was highlighted, and the focus of the discussion was Chapter 8,
entitled “In the Zone of Ambivalence: A Feminist Journal of Competition.”
